I spent over 20 years in law firm operations, most recently as a COO, before that as a Director and Firm Administrator. Along the way, I've done a little bit of everything: built HR systems and onboarding programs, managed the books, hired and trained teams, and kept day-to-day operations running smoothly so the people doing the actual client work could focus on it.
Now I bring that same experiece to solo practicioners and small firm owners. You don't need a full time executive. You need someone who has done this before and can step in on exactly where it is causing you a headache. Whether that's a handbook that's years out of date, books that need a thorough review or upgrade, or simply getting your systems organized so nothing falls through the cracks.
Not a lawyer? Not a problem. While much of my experience comes from law firms, I've also supported small business owners outside the legal world, including a boutique fitness studio. If you're running a small business and need help getting organized, that's exactly the kind of work I love.
